Graef was inspired by a more recent weekend getaway trip to Orlando, Florida with her husband. On the way it was a beautiful day with bright blue skies. When she looked up and saw the Apopka sign in front of all the traffic with cars of many colors, she new she wanted to paint this. This unusual landscape painting was created in deep blues, reds, yellows and greens with playful experimenting, creating a striking effect with bold contrast. The work has a uniquely created perspective expressed by the sizes and angles of the cars and the road going off into the horizon.The work is finished with neatly painted edges and a very nice black wooden floater frame. All the necessary hardware is attached and the painting is ready to hang on the wall.
